Hidden Teenage Vault Discovered Posted: 24 November 2007 During a rare spell of major house cleaning, I came across three manuscript books containing dozens more
songs that I wrote during my teenage years which I had completely forgotten about. So, my song (cata)log(ue)
is well above 300. Unfortunately this means that the honour of 300th song no longer goes to "Big Little Sister"
but to the "(Westward) Jetlag Song", a track written at around 5am local time in a really nasty but well-situated
Best Western in Manhattan. I'm pleased to announce the birth of my 300th song, "Big Little Sister", written in G flat major about the
sexuality of little girls, the introduction of shame, and the paranoid fear of paedophiles. Very nice!
Today I've just written my 299th song, "Le Beau Tristan Tzara", which means that song 300 is imminent.
Oh the pressure for that 300th song to be a good one...
Zerophilia, the film that contains Liam's song, "Kirsiber" is set for DVD release on 20 February 2007.
Visit your favourite shop, such as Amazon,
to purchase it.
Liam's song, "Kirsiber", appears in the recently released film Zerophilia. For more
information, check out the official Zerophilia movie site.
The ghost that walks has been walking in China for some time now. See The Ghost Walk, and
whilst in China at what must be very early in the morning (or very late at night), I received a link to a new remix that he's
done of The City That Everyone Hates. To listen, click on to the sounds page.
All has been quiet on the music front chez Liam. He lives in a one-bedroom apartment and there is no room
for a piano, and the guitar just doesn't really do it for him like the piano did. Okay, Liam could buy a keyboard
of some sort but that would cost money. Liam is a student now and the student loan and grant doesn't really justify
such an expenditure. Now I know as well as anyone that Liam is an impulsive type and the two credit cards in his wallet
are itching to be swiped or shoved in a chip'n'pin machine... but so far Liam has resisted the urge.
Liam has signed the necessary paperwork and licensed song "Kirsiber" to be featured in the film Zerophilia,
directed by Martin Curland.

A full-length album, 'Sanctimonious', is now finally ready and you can get it either at some of my live appearances or by visiting The Shop. The final tracklisting is as follows:
Six live appearances in the US have now been arranged. The first show is in New York on 17 June, and then it's off to California for three more (including one with that oh so rare PIANO at UnUrban in Santa Monica), then one in Vegas, and then one in Chicago on 25 June. For more info and updates see Appearances section for the latest dates, and be sure to check often.
The amount of live appearances is increasing exponentially! At the time of posting this message there were 6 dates scheduled in the London area for the next couple of months, so that's plenty of opportunity to see Liam in person. We are also working on a mini-tour of the USA (the big three) for late June. Check out the Appearances section for the latest dates, and be sure to check often.
Liam is currently working on a full-legnth album to be titled 'Santimonious' which should be completed by the end of April 2002. The proposed tracklisting is as follows: |
